- How do I become a SARSAS volunteer?
Anyone who is above 18 years and loves to spread smiles can volunteer to teach at orphanages, conduct health and hygiene campaigns, visit old age homes, help in palliative care, be a mentor in our Sponsor a Child Programme and our various other activities.
- How long should I volunteer to become a permanent volunteer of SARSAS?
The volunteer should have spent 1 year on volunteering in the organisation and must participate in the minimum number of events conducted by SARSAS. For obtaining the SARSAS I.D., she/he has to pay an admission fee of 365 INR annually. For students, the fee is 150 INR.
- Can I help with the weekend developmental classes alone?
You most definitely can if you are willing to and capable of helping and have time to spare every weekend without fail.
- Do I get volunteer certificates?
Every volunteer who has contributed to our mission sincerely for a consecutive 6 months gets a valid certificate of volunteering. Besides this, on volunteering for Trivandrun, he /she gets an exclusive event certificate too.
